MEET THE TEAM

Dr Michael Carver DC

Hi guys, I’m Mike and I’m one of our lead Chiropractors and Co-founders here at The Chiro Clinic. I grew up in Bristol and from childhood, I was always fascinated by the science behind how the body works, moves and heals. As a super keen athlete across multiple sports, I also had my fair share of injuries. After having help from my local Chiropractor, I knew that I wanted to go on and help people in the same way. I achieved my qualifications at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales; learning my craft from some of the leading teachers in our field. I graduated with my Masters Degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2017. Since then, I have worked with and learned from some of the best Chiropractors and Physiotherapists in the country, honing my skills and adding things to my toolbox. This year, I decided it was a great time to open up my own clinic, having grown so much as a clinician over the last few years. I have attended multiple courses including Dry Needling (Acupuncture), Kinesio-Taping, Muscle Testing, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Sports Trauma Management, Neural Interface Technique, running analysis and I have also qualified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment. My goal is to not only treat pain with Chiropractic manipulation, joint mobilization, soft-tissue release and massage; but also to assess the way you move and why you’ve had these issues in the first place. This way, we can make sure you get the rehabilitation that you need to get pain free and perform better! I treat a wide range of conditions, including headaches, sciatica, joint and muscular pain throughout the spine and extremities, running and sports related injuries. Using a wide variety of techniques best suited to you, we can achieve amazing results!

Dr Nader Haji DC

Welcome to the Chiro Clinic! The North West’s leading Chiropractic institute. My name is Dr Nader Haji (Doctor of Chiropractic) Bsc MChiro DC and I’m Co-founder and a clinician at the clinic. I obtained my skills at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic; working alongside some of the UK’s leading names in the industry. I graduated with a first class honours degree and a Masters of Chiropractic in 2017. I have been registered with the General Chiropractic Council and British Chiropractic Association for five years. I have also been a member of the Royal College of Chiropractors for the same time. My passion for Chiropractic was a constant throughout my childhood where I had an avid fascination for the human body’s anatomy and physiology. As a keen sportsman myself, playing rugby and football from a young age in both the Middle East and South Wales, understanding the biomechanics of the body was vital to support my progression and performance in sport. I began a disciplined training journey as a teenager and now have over fifteen years experience and knowledge in the fitness and wellness industry. I progressed my career after graduation in the city of Liverpool, where I have amassed multiple qualifications including Rock Taping (kinesiology taping) dry needling, functional movement pattern screening, soft tissue techniques along with attending multiple chiropractic technique courses. I pride myself on using a holistic approach and like to help patients both in the short and long term so they can get the full potential and capacity out of their bodies. My chiropractic manipulation techniques allow me to provide my patients with the most effective results.

Rebecca Liong

Hi everyone, I’m Rebecca, one of the Chiropractors at The Chiro Clinic. Thanks to the highly integrated teaching in the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC), I qualified as a Doctor of Chiropractic with first-class honours after 4 years of vigorous training. Inspired by my parents who work as massage therapists, I’ve grown passionate about the human body and alternative natural ways to remedy pain. Pain is increasingly becoming a problem globally, and I pride myself as a hands-on professional who tackles the problem head-on with holistic methods. I practice a variety of techniques including manipulative therapy, dry needling (medical acupuncture) and soft tissue work using specialised instruments. I am constantly pursuing different evidence-based skills and aim to specialise in the pregnancy and paediatric discipline to expand my practice. Outside the clinic, I enjoy all outdoor activities as well as badminton, frisbee and travelling. Indoors, you will find me in the kitchen cooking or baking. My ethos of chiropractic is not limited to addressing pain, but also providing long-term solutions for patients’ problems; promoting optimal function and restoring health. Chiropractic care is all about achieving patients’ personal health goals and enabling them to live their best and fullest life. My love for this discipline deepens whenever patients express their incredible improvement and satisfaction. I look forward to being a part of your journey towards a pain-free life.

I am currently studying level 5 sports therapy. I will definitely continue to add more qualifications to the list. I’m planning on doing dry needling along with level 4 complementary therapy within the next year. I love the job not only for the aspect of how many directions I can take it, aswell as the amount of skills I can gain but seeing people leave a little better each time plus watching and being part of the progression of injury recovery and just general relaxation is what I love most and what makes the job all the more special to me.
